This is not your typical werewolf / shifter story.

All Cassie has ever wanted is to be a pack mother. And when she gets selected to be part of the Breeders program, whilst naturally nervous, it's like a dream come true. She'll fall pregnant, and hopefully have a couple of pups, and her dream will be reality.

Until she meets the Ram. Unmasking this man becomes her new obsession. And she won't stop until she knows the identity of the man who has made her feel this way. A way she had only ever read about in her forbidden romance books. A way that will have her exiled.

These same feelings have become present in the Ram too. Except in his mission to save Cassie, he hurts he in the process. Choosing the pack over her. As it should be done.

Pack above all.

It's the motto that has been ingrained into them since they born. A method to protect the pack after the Pack Wars. In this world, there are no mates. There is no love. There is only the pack. And their only mission in life is to serve the pack.

This book had me always wanting more. Even when it finished, I wanted more. I need to know more. This puts forbidden love into a twisted spin. You can touch but not love.
